Private Parties at June Farms
The June Farms events team specializes in hosting memorable, picture-perfect parties and events both here at our stunning Hudson Valley farm and at our off-site venues.
To that end, we offer several types of private parties during our in-season period, which extends from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
We have options for all different budgets. And we’re happy to open our barn doors for any occasion.
In this article, we’ll cover each of our private party offerings in detail so you can select the one that’s best for your occasion.
But first, here are some things that are common to all our parties:
1. A $500 booking deposit is required to reserve your date. If you need to cancel your event, we would be happy to give your deposit back to you in the form of a JUNE FARMS gift card.
2. A 20% staff gratuity + 8% sales tax + 5% event commission fee is added to all final bills, which is not reflected in the pricing below.
3. Dining options can be provided by our on-site caterer, Crafted Catering, which is a separate bill that’s not included in the party prices listed below.
4. Every party on-site at June Farms comes with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverage packages vary in cost by party.
5. Music and seasonal floral arrangements are included at every June Farms party or event. Audiovisual vendors can be retained to assist with any audiovisual needs your party may have.
6. On-site parking is included for all private events at June Farms.

Daytime Classic Pony Party
Our most popular party, the Classic Pony Party, allows for private use of The Pony Barn for any 3 hours between 9 AM and 3 PM. You can book this party any day of the week.
A Classic Pony Party is the perfect choice for a daytime event like a bridal shower, birthday, or graduation reception. And it’s ideal for medium-sized guests lists, typically accommodating up to 50 people.

$3,000 for a 3-hour party; $1,000 per additional hour
Beverage add-ons
$10 per person for beer and wine
$15 per person for beer, wine, and mimosas
$40 per person for full top shelf open bar
Evening Classic Pony Party
An evening Classic Pony Party allows for private use of The Pony Barn for any 3 hours between 4 PM and 11 PM any day of the week.
This option is ideal for company parties, family reunions, and intimate birthday gatherings. Similar to the daytime Classic Pony Party, the evening version of this event typically accommodates up to 50 people.

$5,000 for a 3-hour party; $1,000 per additional hour
Beverage add-ons
$10 per person for beer and wine
$40 per person for full top shelf open bar
Thoroughbred Party
The Pony Barn at night
A Thoroughbred Party takes the Classic Pony Party up a notch. The main distinctions here are that more guests can be accommodated with a Thoroughbred Party and a top shelf open bar is included in the package.
For this reason, these parties are also more expensive.

$7,500 for a 4-hour party; $1,000 per additional hour
Includes beverage package:
Full top shelf open bar for up to 100 guests
$75 per guest for any guest over 100
As the name suggests, Thoroughbred parties are higher-end affairs: think engagement receptions, milestone anniversaries, and black tie events.
They can take place any day during any 4-hour window between 9 AM and 11 PM.
Party in The Lodge
The Lodge at June Farms
This party package gets you private access to our “whimsically quaint” rustic chic lodge at June Farms.
A 4-hour party in The Lodge can accommodate up to 20 guests. And it can take place any day that the space is available between 6 PM and 10 PM.
A party in The Lodge comes with music, florals, a roaring fire, and select beer, wine, and soft drinks.

Party in The Coop
An event in The Coop at June Farms can accommodate up to 20 guests for a 3-hour party. It can be held any day of the week between the hours of 9 AM and 11 PM. A party at The Coop includes seasonal florals, music, a roaring fire, and select beer, wine, and soft drinks.
One of the most fun features of this party is the ability to play with our resident goats who live in the patch adjacent to The Coop.
Our events staff will also transport you and your guests on golf carts to and from The Coop.
In the event of bad weather, your party will be relocated under the Event Tent at no extra cost to you.

Bonfire Party in Fern Gully (New Addition!)
Channel throwback summer camp vibes with a bonfire party in Fern Gully at June Farms. This type of party is suitable for a maximum of 20 guests and can be held any day between 5 PM and 10 PM.
It includes s’mores, a keg of beer, and select wines.

Party in an NYC-Style Loft (New Addition!)
Host an upscale event at one of June Farms’ premier off-site venues: Our swanky, NYC-style loft in Downtown Albany.
A party in The Loft can take place any day between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM. This type of party is ideal for, but not exclusive to, fundraisers and corporate events.
In addition to its gorgeously-decorated interior space, The Loft has a private outdoor garden with a koi pond and ample seating areas.

$2,500 for a 3-hour party; $1,000 per additional hour

$25 per person for beer, wine, and mimosas

June Farms Party Boat (New Addition!)
Set sail on a 3-hour boat party around beautiful Burden Lake, located right in the environs of June Farms.
Our pontoon party boat can accommodate up to 10 guests. Your party will include select beers, wines, and one type of liquor with mixers. There will also be a passed charcuterie plate and light snacks provided.

ATV Party (New Addition!)
ATV parties are a radical new addition to our event offerings on-site at June Farms.
You and up to seven guests can rip through the woods on a 90-minute guided tour. Afterward, enjoy a 2 hour open bar in The Pony Barn.
Either a bag lunch or wood fired pizza is included as part of the tour.
Note that each ATV will seat two guests. So your party will have a total of four ATVs at its disposal.

Kids pizza party
What could be better than a day at the farm? Answer: A day at the farm + pizza!
Host your child’s birthday pizza party here at June Farms. We can accommodate up to 50 people (including children and adults) between noon and 3 PM on weekends during the season. Before settling in at the pizza bar, our events team will lead the kids on a farm stroll to meet all of our resident animals.
The party comes with unlimited wood fired pizza, soda, and juices, as well as a bounce house.
Adults will have access to The Pony Barn for a cash bar while the kids play.

June Farms Weddings
There are so many reasons to have a farm wedding.
Add this one to the list: At June Farms we specialize in curating them, having hosted over 40 flawless farm weddings since opening our barn doors in 2017.
We take wedding reservations for the months of May, September, and October. There is, however, some consideration for off-season weddings. Please call to inquire about your specific dates. You can also check out the “Weddings” section on our homepage for full pricing details.
Off-season parties
In-season at June Farms is between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Our off-season is from September to June. Weekends are reserved for weddings in May, September, and October. In November and December, we take reservations for private holiday events. And in the months of January, February, and March we generally don’t take any reservartions. However, we would consider hosting a select number parties during this time at the Thoroughbred level or higher.
Note that semi-private parties and bonfire parties are only reservable during our in-season.

Reservations and party cancellations
We are unable to “hold” dates. A $500 deposit will be required in order to ensure that your reservation date is locked in.
However, we understand that sometimes plans change.
And in the event that you book a party and need to cancel it, your $500 deposit will be returned to you in the form of a June Farms gift card.
A note on catering
As previously mentioned, food is not included in any of our party packages. Our third party on-site caterer is Crafted Catering. To speak with Crafted Catering about food options before booking a party, please call chef/owner Will Brown at (518) 366-6979.
